After Infinity Ward’s Jason West and Vincent Zampella recently left, there has been some concern over the fate of the Call of Duty franchise. Worry no more.

This past week, Activision blogger Dam Amrich wrote on the Facebook page Gamers Against Bobby Kotick and Activision.

He states “”As for COD, they’ve confirmed three games in the next two years, Seeing as how there is a pattern of one new COD game every year, this is one new COD game from one new developer, and in a different genre from the core games we’ve seen.”

Activision has confirmed that they have plans to release three new titles of the franchise by April of 2012.
