Crash Team Racing in Development for Xbox 360

Justin Rasch, a Lead Animator for High Impact Games, has revealed through posting a web based C.V resume that he is currently at work on a new Crash Team Racing game for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo Wii. If you’re a fan of the Crash Bandicoot games, then time to get a little excited - but only a little.

Taken from Justin Rasch’s Resume:

Crash Team Racing was originally a Playstation V1 racing game where players controlled different characters from the Crash Bandicoot universe, most of whom raced in karts. While racing, players used weapons and power-ups to gain advantages over other near-by players which made the game far more fun and addictive than any other typical racer. It was released in 1999 and if you liked Nintendo’s Mario Kart, then this was exactly the Playstation equivalent you could wish for.

No further information on the next-gen version development is known that could reveal whether this is a retail game or Xbox LIVE Arcade title.

This would be great! When I was little me and my mum used to play this for hours! Sadly the more recent Crash games haven’t been anything special but this could be great!
