Square Enix has been very tight lipped about their upcoming game, codenamed Project X. In all honesty, except for the codename, that has been the only thing we know.

David Hoffman, the Executive Producer on Project X has let loose just a bit this past Friday on his twitter page. He has revealed that the game will be an RPG with this tweet:
new milestone just rolled in on project X! Can’t wait to reveal the latest and greatest RPG to come outta Square Enix.

Up till now, all indications were that the game would be revealed at E3 in June, but not if Mr. Hoffman, has anything to do with it. He posted again about two hours ago in response to a question from someone calling themselves @funcroc. He tweeted “Will Project X be announced at E3 2010?” and he tweeted back “trying to get it announced before then. Wish me luck…”

We maybe hearing more about this game before E3 but in the mean time we will have to keep our ear to the ground. Stay with ICGamers for the latest on Project X.
