THQ and Zuffa, LLC today announced the worldwide release of UFC Undisputed 2010, marking the return of the videogame sports franchise based on the mixed martial arts (MMA) organization, the Ultimate Fighting Championship. UFC Undisputed 2010 features over 100 of the world’s most talented mixed martial artists, unmatched combat gameplay, a Career Mode and new online features, delivering the most authentic and expansive UFC videogame experience to date. UFC Undisputed 2010 is rated “T” for Teen and is now available at retail outlets for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for a suggested retail price of $59.99. The game will be available for the PSP system in September.
The online fight camp feature in UFC Undisputed 2010 introduces a never-before-seen gameplay dynamic to the sports and fighting genres, allowing players to form camps of up to 40 people, similar to clans in first-person shooters or guilds in a massively multiplayer online (MMO) game. The feature will allow players to join together online to fight, train and progress as a team. In addition to providing a rich online experience, the feature brings a prominent part of MMA culture to the game, as real-life fight camps and training regimes play vital roles in a fighter’s preparation and success inside the Octagon. In addition, players will be able to manage their camps from anywhere in the world through UFC Undisputed 2010’s community site at community.ufcundisputed.com. Exhibition Mode also returns to UFC Undisputed 2010, letting players around the world fight against each other online.
The online features in UFC Undisputed 2010 are accessible through a numerical code packed into every copy of game. The one-time-use only codes can also be purchased via Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft for 400 Microsoft Points and PlayStation Network for $5.00 for second-time buyers.
