Gamescom 2010: Sinemora Coming to XBLA in 2011

We have to admit that we are a little late with this announcement but you know what they say – better late than never! Back on Wednesday this week, we were invited to a party at the top of Pullman’s Cologne hotel for a new game announcement from Digital Reality and Grasshopper Interactive.

After showing off their past hits and what they have in store for gamers in the future, Digital Reality’s CEO Andras Peller and Grasshopper Interactive’s Suda 51, the maker of killer7 and No More Heroes, announced Sinemora, a new brand new title coming to Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network in Q3 2011.

The creators explained that the title has a meaning in latin which is “without delay” and that it plays a huge role as far as the story and theme are concerned. The latter was revealed as follows:

“What would you do if you knew how much you had left?”

This was all the information they were allowed to share for the time being, but they promised more will be revealed in the coming months. Don’t worry, we’ll let you know when more details become available.

Well, that announcement has to be the most… uh, covert announcement I’ve read on Xboxic. Not only is the name really weird (”Sinemora” - some Spanish resort?), but no clue is given as to what kind of game it actually is. A platformer? A TPS-shooter? A pinball game?

Sorry about that. I had it written down but forgot to add it. It’s now been corrected ;)
