Kuniokun Dodge Ball DS (aka Super Dodgeball) was first uncovered via Famitsu at the beginning of August. Now, however, we’ve managed to scavenge the first set of screenshots. For fans of the Game Boy Advance version of the game, the DS version is set to offer more of the same plus (we hope) online extras.

Online support hasn’t yet been confirmed, but developer Arc System Works will be including an eight-player free-for-all battle mode via local download play. Translations of the original announcement also point to there being customisation options for players and teams.

There’s no news on a release date, but given the cult popularity of previous versions, we’d be disappointed if a Western release never materialised.
