First Motorstorm 2 trailer
With over 3 million sales of the first Motorstorm game, it’s not really suprising that a second game is being developed as we speak. Even though the sales numbers aren’t entirely fair due to all the bundles the game shipped with, it’s a popular title nevertheless. Today the first trailer for the game has been released
The bad news however is that it’s not an in-game trailer, but it solely consists off CGI graphics. If you remember the CGI trailers for the first Motorstorm and compare them to the actual game, there’s quite a difference in terms of graphics. Since we haven’t seen any in-game graphics of Motorstorm 2, we can’t judge about those yet.
What we’re seeing in the trailer is that the races are not taking place in dusty Monument Valley anymore, but on some kind of tropical island. This change of scenery will undoubtedly add a few new elements here and there, but it’s quite clear that the wreckless core gameplay elements that made the first title popular stay intact. pointless game. first one sucked. why would ppl go out and buy second? ps3 needs to get better exclusives.
The first game was awewsome, the core gameplay was the most fun I’ve ever had in a racer (til Burnout Paradise), and i’m not a big racing fan, ok it only had 8 tracks but DLC more than made up for it

i love how ppl say something… then don’t back it up right away until asked or made fun of… it’s like your lazy and/or trying to get away without you even tryin to prove your point!
Because I can’t be bothered explaining it everytime, I assumed by know it was common knowledge the ps3 had a good first year for sales and games (not a Wii good first year, but pretty decent one especially compared to 360)so either don’t be lazy and look it up urself, or I can explain it for u.
MotorStorm was awesome, the first “must-have” PS3 game for me (detailed graphics, great sense of speed, etc.). Though it was a bit too much like Excite Truck…
I am glad the environment has changed, not that there was anything wrong with the first, just helps make it more of a new game rather than Motostorm 1 redone.
Looking forward to this and it’s good to see multiplayer on one machine.
If it has pendulum in the soundtrack, I’m sold!
