Ultimate Board Games rocks PS2 and PSP this May
There’s probably a “love ‘em or hate ‘em” crowd for virtual board games (the traditional sort we mean, not your Mario Party variety), so we don’t think Empire Interactive’s attempt at making their latest compilation ‘Ulimate’ by name will really change that very much. It’ll be shuffling onto the Sony PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable this May.
It’s nothing that hasn’t been done a million times before, but PS2 and PSP owners will receive a total of twenty and twenty-four classic board games in Ultimate Board Game Collection respectively, including chess, checkers and backgammon.
Key Features
- A must own collection of the World’s best loved board and table top games.
- With classic family games, all-time favourites, puzzle and strategy games all included, there’s something for players of all ages.
- Play against friends, family or CPU opponent (with multiple difficulty levels).
- Customise each game by selecting different rules, environments and piece types.
- Learn new games with tutorials included for novice players.
- Choose from 4 different soundtracks. Use your own songs as the soundtrack (PSP).
- Unlock trophies by completing specific tasks (PSP, PS2)
- Use the Wii Remote to point, grab and flick pieces with 3 control mechanisms: “flick” control, pointer or +Control Pad. (Wii only).
