High School Musical 3: Senior Year DANCE! bops onto PS2
Gleaming white smiles, sickly sweet songs, and clichéd teenage American living - it must be Disney’s High School Musical. And in proof that its developers are willing to milk the brand for all it’s worth, High School Musical 3: Senior Year DANCE! has been announced for the Sony PlayStation 2.
In High School Musical 3: Senior Year DANCE!, players will drop in on locations from all of the High School Musical films, jiving along in rhythm to sing-a-long favourites such as “We’re All in This Together” and “What Time Is It.”
Players take the role of Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Ryan, Chad or Taylor, or can customise their own Wildcat, using a variety of outfits, shoes and hairstyles. As well as the single player mode, two styles of multiplayer modes are included: competitive (in which players earn power-ups to upset their opponents dance steps) and co-operative (where players dance in sync to earn high scores).
“We’re building on the success of last year’s line up of ‘High School Musical’ video games with new immersive extensions to the hit property,” said Craig Relyea, senior vice president of global marketing, Disney Interactive Studios. “We’ll continue to bring exciting and fresh interactive experiences to ‘High School Musical’ fans everywhere, delivering new storylines, characters and songs.”
High School Musical: Senior Year DANCE! is released this holiday season. Yessss!
