Activision details Christmas, January 09 GHWT DLC
Get those guitar-thrashing plectrums primed, as Activision has today unveiled the content it will be rolling out for Guitar Hero World Tour over the Christmas period and into January 2009.
Arriving tomorrow are three downloads:
- Hinder - “Use Me”
- Nickleback - “Because of You”
- Rev Theory - “Light It Up”.
If none of that tickles your fancy, on January 8th you’ll find the Country Rock Track Pack, which includes:
- Rascal Flatts - “Me and the Gang”
- Brad Paisley - “Ticks”
- Brooks & Dunns - “Hillbilly Deluxe”
Following that, Blink 182 fans may very well rejoice on January 15th as Travis Barker throws up three songs to jam along to:
- “What’s My Age Again”
- “Lycanthrope”
- “Low”
A week after, it’s time for the Aussies to show their stuff with:
- Silverchair - “Tomorrow”
- The Vines - “Outtathaway!”
And Brit rockers Oasis close the month with the full track listing from the band’s newest release, ‘Dig Out Your Soul’ being made available for 1420 Microsoft Points (19.20 GBP / 18.23 EUR).

I think that is quite possibly the worst lineup of DLC I have seen for any game, ever.
i agree wit Veritas….i think this is why RB gets the better edge over GH…and thats with its DLC =/ GET BETTER SONGS GH!!!
I’ll be picking up What’s My Age Again, unless it comes out for Rock Band before then.
Yep u said it veritas. I own both games but RB gets my vote every time. IF I get anything at all, it will be What’s My Age Again. If GH are going to provide decent DLC they HAVE to get some more easily recognisable tracks, otherwise they are going to FAIL (and how about some non RB tracks too?)

Silverchair is nice and so is the vines but it is too little, you have a library of close to 500 choices versus this small line up. Props to them for getting Tool,Oasis, and Raconteurs but the amount of DLC is pure crap. You cant reach a variety of tast when you only release 5 songs.
