Banjo-Tooie Coming to XBLA in April
For all of you out there who are feeling nostalgic, get ready for some more sweet bear-on-bird action coming this April. The sequel to the Nintendo 64 game Banjo-Kazooie is on its way this spring, along with some extra goodies not in the original game. Read on to find out.
We’ve known since the announcement of Banjo-Kazooie that the sequel would be coming, but now we’ve been given a more solid release date. On top of that, this new port of the game will be coming with a “silky-smooth frame rates and super-sharp HD graphics.” And that’s not all.
As with the XBLA release of Banjo-Kazooie, you can expect all the fully-featured fun from the original game. But there’s more – 4J Studios have dredged the Banjo team’s collective memory and implemented the original plan for Stop ‘n’ Swop, for the first time on any platform ever and after many long years of waiting. Without going into too much detail, the Stop ’n’ Swop items collected in Banjo-Kazooie will ‘magically’ appear in Tooie, resulting in… well, you’ll just have to find out. What could be cooler than that? Nothing, that’s what – not even Kazooie turning into a dragon.
Along with this new feature, there will be some more fun additions as well, although the developers haven’t said what yet. Are you looking forward to taking on Gruntilda and her wicked sisters again in HD?

Oh great news everyone, only 21 days left until Killzone 2 is out. Got the demo early because I preordered, and let me tell you it is totally sick. I can see why this game is a PS3 exclusive, there’s no way Xbox could handle it graphically. No doubt the best game of 2009. Be sure to get your PS3’s before the stores are wiped out.
