Call of Duty: World at War DLC announced
Get your lederhosen ready because more WW2 goodness is coming our way soon. CallofDuty.com announced today that the first DLC for Call of Duty: World at War will be available for download next month. The pack will come with new Multiplayer levels as well as an additional level of Nazi Zombie goodness. Check inside for the details.
- Nightfire
- In “Nightfire,” players take to the streets of a war-ravaged Berlin with only the flames of the burning city to expose the enemy. (see screenshot)
- Station
- “Station” offers a bombed out underground train station littered with hidden passageways and destroyed subway cars.
- Knee Deep
- “Knee Deep” takes place on the island of Peleliu in a once tranquil village turned chaotic Japanese command center.
- Verrückt (Zombie Asylum)
- The fan favorite 4-player co-op Nazi Zombies Bonus Mode returns with “Verrückt,” a terrifying Zombie asylum featuring more weapons, perks via the addition of Perks-a-Cola machines, electroshock defenses and the endless zombie horde.
The DLC Map Pack will be coming our way in March of 2009. The price is still TBD at the moment but as soon as new info is available you will read it here.

I let this game sit on my coffee table for a month before playing because of all the negetive comments. Man was I a dumbass. This game Rocks and is soooo much better than CoD4. Can’t wait for the new Maps.

The XBox Live charts suggest otherwise.
The campaign is a little same-old-same-old, but the multiplayer is tremendous. Far better than Gears 2 multiplayer code. You never have to wait for long to get into a COD4 or COD:WAW match.
These maps will be purchased for sure.
It’s the best Call of Duty to date… CoD4 is boring and outdated now. This will keep me going until Modern Warfare2 then I’ll not bother with it.
I had WAW until my brother lost it, I loved it too! So I’ve been playing Modern Warfare to take up my time, as well as some gears, left 4 dead, etc.
Yeah im still on CoD4 now and then to try and contribute to ranking up my prestige. Not bothering to prestige on CoDWW… dont want to lose all my weapons and get em back again when I just as well keep them in the first place!!
But in WaW you actually get stuff for prestige… new custom class slots! And maybe other stuff I don’t know about yet.
Its 2 gamerpics and achievments worth 0 points. 1 when you do prestige 1 and the other when you finish at the top of prestige 10
