In the wake of the release date for Kirby Super Star Ultra on Monday 22nd September, 2008, Nintendo is to hold a special event across various Kirby-named areas in North America to try and garner even more attention for the pink puffball.
According to Nintendo, it will be a ‘one-of-a-kind celestial event’ for people to view; a “Spectacular, Star-Filled Display Will Be Visible From Earth at Select Locations”. Kirby has always been an extremely popular character in both the US and Japan, so this sort of spectacle should go down great guns with fans that can get to any of the locations.
WHAT: Authorities at Nintendo are forecasting an extraordinary celestial event this season. Expected to be visible on 18th September, this eye-popping occurrence will be best viewed from a handful of specific U.S. locations (see below). Experts are still deliberating over the scientific significance of this rare phenomenon, but evidence points clearly to the re-emergence of a luminous entity that citizens from all walks of life will appreciate.
