TrackMania, one of the most popular racing series of all time, will soon be available on Nintendo DS across European territories, it has been revealed today. Ascaron and Focus Home Interactive are teaming up to bring TrackMania DS to Europe in November 2008, providing the millions of players worldwide who enjoy the PC version, with a whole new experience of racing on a thoroughly addictive handheld version.
TrackMania DS allows players to drive at mind-blowing speeds in high-octane racers on incredible tracks made of jumps, loops, turbo boost pads and many other crazy design elements. More than a hundred circuits in three distinct single-player modes are available. Players will also be able to create their own tracks and race against friends who have a DS without them having to own the game through the DS’s wireless communication capabilities. All this from the Scottish team that brought you the fantastic Race Driver: Create and Race, plus Race Driver: GRID on DS, Firebrand Games.
