Indian game developer Gameshastra has joined forces with special-interest media group, Future to offer users of FirstPlay episode two, an amazing gift: D-Cube Planet, a brilliant PSP Mini puzzle game, absolutely free.
Gameshastra is one of the most prolific developers of PSP Minis worldwide, with six high quality games currently available for download. Deflector, Route 66, Tiger Trouble, Pachisi and Circles are all available alongside D-Cube Planet in the PlayStation Store now - with many more to follow.
Available exclusively to UK gamers through Sony’s PlayStation 3 (PS3) console from the PlayStation Network (PSN), FirstPlay delivers brand-new high definition video reviews and previews every week, plus exclusive downloadable content and much more. FirstPlay is delivered to your console for just 99p an episode, with money-saving 90-day subscriptions, costing £8.99.
D-Cube Planet will be available to download for free within episode two of FirstPlay. The game is a classy action-puzzler in which players must manipulate sliding blocks in order to recover an alien spaceship. Inventive, clever and fun, the game presents hours of brain-busting challenges on both PlayStation 3 and PSP.
“We’re delighted to partner with FirstPlay to offer its users a special free gift,” says Prakash Ahuja, CEO Gameshastra, Inc. “D-Cube Planet has been a tremendous hit with consumers since its launch late last year, and we’re hopeful that many more people will fall for its charms with this fantastic promotion.”
Tim Clark, Editor-in-Chief of FirstPlay and Official PlayStation Magazine, added:
“Each week, our focus is to show gamers the most exciting things on PlayStation systems, and thanks to Gameshastra, we can throw open the world of PSP Minis to those who haven’t experienced a game like D-Cube Planet themselves.
“The response to our launch episode has been great, and we’re actively listening to gamers, through direct feedback from their PS3 and our social media channels. FirstPlay will continue to evolve, and early adopters can help us shape the future of Europe’s only on-console interactive show.”
FirstPlay issue two will be available on April 15th through the PlayStation Network, priced 99p for a single issue, or £8.99 for 90 days.
